Welcome to Volunteer Transportation Services

Volunteer Transportation Services (or VTS) was created in 2013 to fill the transportation gap for older adults, veterans and adults with permanent or temporary disabilities.  VTS is operated by Centralina Connection INC., a non-profit organization whose mission is to help residents throughout the nine county Centralina Region.  Service is limited at this time. However, VTS is currently maintaining a passenger inquiry list for people interested in being passengers in Anson, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly, and Union Counties. Service is contingent upon recruiting and training certified volunteer drivers.

VTS is currently accepting new passengers in strategic areas where Volunteers are available.  To find out more info contact VTS at 844-887-7433!

If you live in an area where volunteers are not yet available, but you would like to be added to our inquiry list, please call 844-887-7433 and leave your name, address and phone number.

“A truly kind & wonderful person. How lucky we seniors are to have such lovely people volunteering.”

“I am receiving, much more than I give. Giving a ride has become more...relationships are building.”

"Very nice volunteer, thoughtful, helpful, careful driver."
